Goals:

Design a pixel-based typeface

Once the typeface is complete, design a poster to market your typeface to other designers. Give your typeface a name and visually demonstrate your concept in your poster through color, layout, imagery, etc.
Decision Making:

The first thing that came to mind when hearing the word pixel-based was older games you might find in an arcade. That's what inspired me to create a game themed poster.

Bright colors seemed like a good choice, especially since I wanted to grab the attention of others and I felt that it fit the more retro look I wanted.

Riverwing was the name I decided on for my typeface after creating it. Including wings in some of the letters seemed fitting which lead to me adding little details to resemble wings.

To keep up with wings theme I made the location taking place in the poster the sky.
